Midweek Randoms

– Tomorrow, this little nugget is going to daycare for the first time! Lord help me, I am going to miss her!
– This one is a week or so old, but I cannot help it, I love when she makes ALL the decisions on what to wear.

– We have had some amazing sunsets around here recently, crazy vivid colors!

– Now that Aubrey is ALL over the place, she is also wanting to stand up, she will pull up on everything!

– Aubrey cut her 3rd tooth last week, and this morning when I looked in there, a corner of each of her top middle teeth had popped through. 3 teeth in a week! Crazy! (This picture is from yesterday, holy super swollen gums! Thank goodness they’re coming through!)

– Ella has recently decided that she loves braids. Last night she wanted 2 braids, but Mommy was busy so Daddy did them. =) (I fixed them this morning before school) 😉

– And this, just funny! And so true!!

Outtakes

While we were back in Indiana, one of my wonderful sisters took family photos for me.I told Brad that all I wanted for our anniversary were some family pictures, you can’t say no to that? So on a chilly Monday morning we got out and did pictures. We got so many GREAT pictures, but these 3 are my favorite “non-perfect” pictures. Because of one or both of the girls faces in each one.

Our Trip to the Pumpkin Patch

On October 7th, which just so happened to be Brad’s and My 6th Wedding Anniversary……

but the girls and I (and My Mom, Sisters, and their respective families) went to the Pumpkin Patch. Since they live there they’ve been going longer than I have, but I’ve been going with them since I was pregnant with Ella. This was my 4th time going and it did not disappoint.
I think Ella was a little sleepy so she was being shy and didn’t want to ride the ponies yet. (If you remember Last Year the ponies were her absolute favorite!)
So, we eased in, and panned for gold and dug for fossils.

We then went around to check out all of the animals in the “Petting Zoo”, this is where Ella discovered that she loved goats. Not just any goat though, this little guy (girl?).

Uncle Jared, liked the sheep.

So did Aubrey…..

Which was my favorite you ask? This little sweetie!

Then we played at this little play house, the bounce house, and Aubrey had a blast in the corn box.

And then, it was the moment that Ella had been talking about for days. PONY RIDES!!!
OMG, this kid LOVES pony rides!

We had some lunch and took the “hay ride” out to the pumpkin patch where I got some decent pictures of Aubrey. Ella was not cooperating. (Surprise! A 2 year old that doesn’t want her picture taken!)

I call this next one, “OMG, It’s a Pumpkin!”
Ella’s eyes KILL me in this picture!

We had time for one more pony ride before calling it a day!

Please excuse my face in this next one, I was OBVIOUSLY saying something profound!
Aubrey talked to this pony the whole way around, she was so excited when she got to sit on it! I see more pony rides in our future!

So, we once again had a amazing time at the Pumpkin Patch! Maybe next year Daddy will get to enjoy it with us!

You say it’s your birthday…..

That’s right my friends, the dirty thirties have arrived!
Hoping my day gets a little better, Ella woke up on the wrong side of the bed and then the roads were covered in ice for the drive in to work. Ha! Thanks for the Birthday gift mother nature.
Ah well, cheers to a new decade!

(Um, yeah, might be making a work day liquor store run, those look amazing! I’m not saying anything, I’m just saying…..)
And, as my sister so sweetly reminded me last week, I’ll have to change my blog profile as I am no longer a “twenty something.” Thanks Faythe! =)

Seven to Five

These are not just my work day hours anymore.
Nope, Last night I put little miss Aubrey to bed at 7 PM and she didn’t wake to nurse until 5 this morning! Holy Monkies! It took almost 8 months but she finally slept through the night last night!
Did Mommy sleep? Of course not! I kept waking up and waiting for her to wake up. Hahaha! So, that’s 2 nights in a row, thank the good lord for that! Let’s keep it up baby girl!

Also, her new nickname is Slappy. Haha, we can’t help it, she likes to smack everything!
So cute!
